  • Overview

    The Strategy Analyst is responsible for strategic research and analytics.  The Senior Strategy Analyst provides insights and recommendations based on qualitative and quantitative research and analysis.  This role assists the SVP of Strategy and Planning in development, execution and communication of the strategic plan.  This role acts as a data and insights expert for marketing, providing behavioral insights and recommendations to help improve response and return on investment.  The Strategy Analyst is the subject matter expert on member insights and behaviors, providing insights and recommendations across the credit union.

    Responsibilities

    • Disseminate the strategy across the credit union, tracking performance against goals, gathering and developing visuals to disseminate accomplishments, and more.
    • Manage and execute member qualitative and quantitative research efforts with research firms [such as 2020 research].  Ensure dissemination of insights and actions. 
    • Conduct ongoing research, disseminate learnings, and measure progress in reference to:
      • Competition
      • Nashville Economy
      • Community
      • Industry
      • Market Penetration
    • Assist the SVP of Strategy and Planning in strategic planning efforts such as:
      • Developing plans for each functional business area or department.
      • Drafting, editing and maintaining the strategic plan as well as the quarterly tactical updates.
      • Execution of the Strategic Planning process.
      • Development of member journey maps.
    • Work with the Data Scientist, Sr. Financial Analyst and other analysts to identify and assist in development and implementation of dashboards, reporting and data models that enable relevant personalized service.
    • Act as a subject matter expert of member behavior. Analyze research results, member data and insights.  Summarize Raddon Performance Analytics, as well as results from other member research efforts to develop summarized insights and segmentation considerations.
    • Analyze marketing response, providing guidance and insights based on learnings.
    • Enhance marketing’s return on investment and response to marketing by providing targeted, relevant member data for direct marketing.
    • Be the guru and leader of: member data governance, member data systems such as Raddon’s Integrator solution, and other member data and member related technologies.
    • Provide use cases and business requirements as needed for member data and insights related initiatives.
    • Act as a member data expert for key projects such as Core and CRM.
    • Deliver effective and engaging presentations regarding member insights and marketing performance.
    • Provide standard data feeds to partner agencies and departments.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors’ degree in Business, Marketing, Math, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.
    • 3+ years of relevant experience.
    • Expert level analysis skills including the ability to identify patterns, potential issues, and the translation of the same into functional requirements or plans.
    • Expert level understanding of marketing functional areas, customer analytics and customer research.
    • Knowledge and ability to effectively use appropriate modeling, research and analysis methodologies.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office tools, including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Must be self-starter and be able to use own judgment to undertake activities with minimal supervision. Must be work independently and as a team member.
    • Must have the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all those contacted during the course of work. 
    • Hours may be unpredictable because of business demand and deadlines. 
    • Regular and reliable attendance is required. 
    • Possession of a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
